Information about this action was published on the WWF website. The aim of the action is to “adopt” 500 Amur tigers by anyone. The price that must be paid for the “adoption” is 25 thousand rubles, while all those who contributed money receive a special “certificate”. According to the press service of the environmental organization, WWF sent a letter to Rosprirodnadzor, which says that the word “adoption” is used here in a figurative sense. “WWF is confident that this action fully complies with Russian legislation on environmental protection.and the animal kingdom. Therefore, when carrying out the action, the organization does not exceed its powers, which are given to it by the existing legislation, – the press service says. Also, WWF notes that individuals and legal entities who will make voluntary donations for the protection of tigers will not receive a “Certificate of adoptive parent”, as Rosprirodnadzor claims, but a “Certificate of Good Luck”. This document is a confirmation that funds were deposited, but at the same time it has no other legal force. According to the Certificate, the tiger is not a regulatory license, which allows the circulation of tigers and does not give the participant of the action the rights to own the animals, “says E.
